[VIDEO] Red River Catfishing

I spent an entire summer trying to catch muskies. That kind of fishing while extremely rewarding is also incredibly taxing on the body and mind. So as a reward to the successful musky grind, I decided to do some fishing for channel catfish with my mom, my brother and my cousin.

I’ve never been to Lockport in my boat before but I definitely knew the theory of catching catfish. Overall it wasn’t a very action packed day but we did manage a couple master angler catfish, including the first for my cousin. In a sense, it was a blessing because hauling in catfish is not easy on the arms.
